Car Batteries
2002 – Ongoing
A flat car battery is a white elephant, both for the environment and the car owner. It is a very heavy, difficult object to dispose of. Some time ago I started noticing them everywhere. The abandoned batteries record the breakdown points of cars, and they’re often found in cheaper parts of cities and towns, where cars are older and more prone to flat batteries. Because they are too heavy and large to collect, I started to document them in situ.
