EXPERIENCE

Co Founder / Partner
www.indexhibit.org
2006 – Present

Indexhibit is a user friendly Content Management System (CMS) made in collaboration with Jeffery Vaska. Build and manage the content of websites, using the established format consisting of an index for navigating the site and an exhibit area for displaying works.

Index + Exhibit = Indexhibit

Indexhibit aim is to establish and promote an archetypal format for the web, a straightforward and effective way to display content, combining good functionality and usability to foreground content over complicated website design. The more websites that use this structure, the more archetypal / invisible the structure becomes, and the more emphasis is placed on content.

MILESTONE PROJECTS

Canal+ Channel Identity Rebrand 2009
Made in collaboration with Richard Holman. The first re-brand of France’s largest satellite network for over 25 years. The solution derived from the Canal+ logo. The box of the existing logo was enlarged to a 16:9 aspect ratio (the same as a TV screen). The ‘+’ was centred within the new larger area and extend to the edges of the screen dividing it in four. The split screen plus, forms the visual architecture that establishes a strong family resemblance over the different Canal+ channels.

Daniel Eatock Imprint (book) published by Princeton Architectural Press 2008
A 224-page book, with nearly 1000 images from over one hundred projects from 1994 to the 2008. Self authored and designed containing a freehand circle drawing (inscribed on a sheet of yellow A4 paper) inserted into the binding of each copy at random locations throughout the edition of 4,000 copies.

Indexhibit 2006
The original portfolio building archetypal user friendly content management system (CMS).

Channel 4 Big Brother Identity 2001 – 2009
An evolving graphic identity for Big Brother, the UK’s first popular reality TV show.
