For the last twelve months I have been making ‘Clip Frame Paintings’, exploring how paint can be both a medium and subject. How the surface that supports, and the surface that displays the paint, can be connected and how they effect the medium. The paint in contact with the glass creates a very glossy deep reflective surface, like an iPhone screen or mirror - the background is in the reflection, adding to the composition.
