Dear London
Following is a proposal of sorts…
You have lots of icons ranging from Big Ben, Beefeater Guards, Black Cabs, Millennium Wheel, yet no logo. There are many logotypes on t-shirts and tourist merchandise, but they all feel a bit tired and nostalgic.
I propose we embrace the ‘on’ in London - it appears twice ✔️✔️ and tweak the most iconic London symbol the ‘London Underground Sign’ combining with the International ‘Power Symbol’ to make a contemporary hybrid.
I offer this as ‘official’ London logo. I think it will be great on everything from T-shirts, key-rings, tourist information signs, anything London related.
My dream is that it will be embraced and used by everyone.
