Last August my mate Ed took my daughter and I to Buddhapadipa Temple in Wimbledon. The monks looked serine in basic Buddh T-Shirts. Before I left I asked a monk in the garden where they get their t-shirts. ‘Primark’ / wow - I have been looking ever since, last summers colour I was told. Today I found them in Primark Hackney.
I will make an edition of 24 Zen T-Shirts / a Primark Buddha T-Shirt with a hand drawn circle in permanent black pen drawn on the front. The circle will be drawn in a clockwise motion and take one hour to complete. The pen will bleed into the fabric and stain the back of the T-Shirt.
